After a moment of looking up through the umbrella Silas watches the accompanying lightning strike, glare blinding him for a moment and causing Amelie to dig her claws into his arm, tail and fur bottlebrushed.

"It does," he murmurs, tucking her against his stomach. "I may stay out for it." Silas loves watching storms, in the same way as he loves the ocean on a cloudy day; its turmoil lets him find a sense of serenity. "You?"
