The Three Broomsticks: Order of the Joberknoll
[ OOC Post Details Here ]
The Three Broomsticks has closed every Thursday night since before the end of the last war. Each of the new owners has followed suit when they picked up the place. The second one said it had to do with luck and honors. And Jo Harvelle, who snuck into the place more times than any could count a decade ago, seems to be following in all their stead with an easy, unruffable grace.
The Closed sign hangs carelessly askew, like normal, and the windows are dark.
(And it will remain that way unless you have an invitation of some kind.)

At The Door
It's kind to greet your guests, yes?
Because that's totally all she's doing. Right? Right.
Re: At The Door
And he could not justify putting off the meeting any longer.

Re: At The Door
There's a hint of a smile at her mouth.
"And, yes. Not as good as yours, but we do have some. Drinks and food are over here," she waves him over, since she's dropping napkins there already. "And then the tables over there are what we'll use."
Re: At The Door
Re: At The Door
"I had to pause earlier for an update from one of first people to arrive."
Those things still counted as far above taking time to put out napkins.
Re: At The Door
Once he is inside however, Aloysius removes the cloak and hangs it as if it is a dead rat. "Good evening," he says by way of greeting. "I beg you tell me there is coffee?"
Re: At The Door
It's definitely one way to make an entrance.
Re: At The Door
He not here for politeness and social niceties though but if she decides she needs to talk with him, he will.
Re: At The Door
She watched him for a moment, before the door chimed again.

He grins at Jo and winces as it ended up hurting.
Re: At The Door
It's rueful, but amused at the wince.
"Go on and take care of that before we start."
Re: At The Door
As being punctual is important and he heads towards the counter.
Re: At The Door
In that way where she hasn't seen but one or two people go into the Three Broomsticks from her position up in the nearest oak tree down the street.
Walking up to the door: "Hello, Jo."
Re: At The Door
"Evening." There's a nod.
"Cloaks can go there," she says, gesturing to things as she talks. "We have a small offering of food and drinks, and the tables beyond-" With about half a dozen people, who've appeared across the day and not just the last while. "-is where the meeting will be."
Re: At The Door
"Sounds perfect." Inara peels off her cloak - a dark green thing, simpler than her usual robes - and folds it under her arm.
"Thank you." For being hospitable, if nothing else just yet.
Re: At The Door
Jo gave her a polite enough smile.
Nothing forced, or offered.
Re: At The Door
Re: At The Door
But the only animagus listed is already inside the room.
And strays and pets aren't handed invitations, so it stays closed.
He does catch the attention of the woman not far from him with a signal.
Re: At The Door
And yowls.
And yowls.
"Shut up."
She shuts up.
Trever scowls down at her. She gives him an innocent look and licks her paw.
Re: At The Door
Taking the door, she opened it only enough.
"Professor Delvar." There's a respectful nod.
Before her gaze stole to the noise maker.
"I believe you only have one invitation."
Re: At The Door
Honestly, the idea that Veena counts as two doesn't occur to him. She appears on his shoulder and drapes herself like a living stole.
