Hogwarts; Outside A Good Day for a Fly

The weather is crisp, sunny and with a wonderful wind that tempts flyers to enjoy it. Quidditch season will be starting soon and that means practices, try outs and all the business of making sure that the proper House team wins.

In Will's case that means he's working to pull together a new team and getting them ready as soon as possible. The two Theos have definite possibilities but he wants to put them to the best use possible.

Today he hasn't reserved the field but he's honestly considering it because it seems like you can't fly in Hogwarts without half the school coming to watch or show off.

He'll be in the air, around the stands and trying to make sense of all the flyers, because if other Houses' teams are going to be practicing around him, its not their fault if he learns things.

Mail comes the same way as always. Owl at the window. Midmorning hours when the wings beat against the glass.




It's not even two minutes later, owl brought in to the back room, that she stands there, reading the floating scroll. Tap twice, and a specific word-combination, for it to even open. Singular to each person. Requiring the slightest change to the arrangement every single time.

In the dark room, it goes up, just as suddenly, in green flames, leaving only ashes to fall through the air. Jo nodding her head, just barely, details cementing to memory, as she reached up to free her hair of the messy bun, beginning to grin widely.

She stopped only long enough to pull a out an iron chainless pocket watch her her jeans. Her finger traced among fifteen or sixteen hands, to find a tiny dolphin. Still in class. And then a tiny snitch. Oh, good. Teacher's lounge. A letter was sent to Lee, with care to both of them, saying the usual things.











The weekend, not too different from a handful of other times its already happened, Jo is said to be out. Something about one of her uncles in America. The Three Broomsticks is still open, at least the bottom level of it, and run by the other normal workaday staff seen about those parts often.
