Hogwarts; Outside A Good Day for a Fly

The weather is crisp, sunny and with a wonderful wind that tempts flyers to enjoy it. Quidditch season will be starting soon and that means practices, try outs and all the business of making sure that the proper House team wins.

In Will's case that means he's working to pull together a new team and getting them ready as soon as possible. The two Theos have definite possibilities but he wants to put them to the best use possible.

Today he hasn't reserved the field but he's honestly considering it because it seems like you can't fly in Hogwarts without half the school coming to watch or show off.

He'll be in the air, around the stands and trying to make sense of all the flyers, because if other Houses' teams are going to be practicing around him, its not their fault if he learns things.

"Of course, if you're going out for the team that means being able to fly with everyone. For now, I'll just watch you fly,"

He'll join them soon and test them because he's found the best way to learn about someone is to fly with them.

The Theos stand, and rise into the air on their brooms in tight formation, the blond one leading. At first, they fly a wide loop around the entire pitch, skilfully dodging all the other flyers.

Will watches them, he knows they can fly together, its with other people he wonders about.

They are having fun, weaving and dodging as if to make sure nobody else needs to get out of their way for the Theos.

The blond Theo waves to Will, then dodges a bludger two random Ravenclaws are playing with.

When they next fly by Will, he tosses a Quaffle towards them to see what they do with it.

The dark Theo catches it; and then they start throwing it back and forth as if they were alone on the pitch, never hitting anybody else, never forcing them to evade the ball.

They seem o be having fun.

Will's impressed, they're doing better than he thought they would.

[ostro_goth]

They'd probably not be quite as good playing with somebody else, but they've been flying together and throwing balls around ever since they had their first toy brooms, at the age when muggle children ride trikes.

So when one Theo throws the quaffle over his shoulder, he knows for certain that the other one will catch it, and nobody else will be inconvenienced.

When they next fly by, Will flies between them and since he's not going to let a bludger loose, tosses another Quaffle towards the blond Theo.

The blond Theo catches it; and after a split second's adjustment, the dark Theo throws his Quaffle to Will.

Will catches the Quaffle and starts speeding towards the goal post, dodging other fliers and turning to see if the boys are still there.

The blond Theo throws his Quaffle to the dark one, and races Will towards the goal.

[will_scarlett]

As they head towards him, Will turns quickly and throws the Quaffle like a bludger at the dark Theo.

The dark Theo dodges the Quaffle and throws the one he had caught towards the goal post, aiming to score.

Will does another fast turn and knocks the Quaffle out of the goal and grins at the boys,

"Good, you might be able to keep up."

[ostro_goth]

The blond Theo dives towards the other Quaffle, and throws it at the goal post as well.

[will_scarlett]

As Will's not a Keeper, he lets the Quaffle go through and laughs.

[ostro_goth]

The Theos cheer, and fly a complicated looping around each other.

[will_scarlett]

"You've got potential. Don't get cocky."

[ostro_goth]

The Theos look a bit worried at that.

[will_scarlett]

"You're fast which helps but you need to practice flying with other people as it won't be just you two on the team."

[ostro_goth]

"Yes," says the dark Theo, meekly.

"We should train with the team a few times to see if we can keep up with them?" the blond one suggests.

[will_scarlett]

"No, train with other people first and see how you do against current team members out here. Everyone enjoys the competition and then we'll see how you do at try outs."

[ostro_goth]

"Yes, we can do that, too," the Theos agree.

[will_scarlett]

"But pay attention to the other team's players as well, you can learn from them."
