Hogwarts; Outside A Good Day for a Fly

The weather is crisp, sunny and with a wonderful wind that tempts flyers to enjoy it. Quidditch season will be starting soon and that means practices, try outs and all the business of making sure that the proper House team wins.

In Will's case that means he's working to pull together a new team and getting them ready as soon as possible. The two Theos have definite possibilities but he wants to put them to the best use possible.

Today he hasn't reserved the field but he's honestly considering it because it seems like you can't fly in Hogwarts without half the school coming to watch or show off.

He'll be in the air, around the stands and trying to make sense of all the flyers, because if other Houses' teams are going to be practicing around him, its not their fault if he learns things.

"We could suggest it as a way to help with Defence Against the Dark Arts. How to fly offensively and defensively."

"Huge qudditch games of people tossing stuff at each other in the name of DaDa..." he says. "I don't know... we'd have to probably talk to Professor Brown about that... and Delvar."

And probably the Headmaster. Which Alec isn't too keen about.

"If we get enough of them on our side, it might be possible. It wouldn't have to be for long but it would be educational."

"I bet professor Owens would be..." He says thinking and watching the flyers around them.

"And Professor Aquam, maybe say that its a chance to test the limits of students' flying ability."

He nods his head quickly. "Obviously there'd have to be some rules we'd need to come up with before proposing it to the teachers so they'd know we thought about it and are responsible students."

After all they are their respective team captains.

"Of course, but its best if they're simple. Basic Quidditch rules so there's no fouling."

"Add a time limit too. I don't think they'd like it if the match went on for three days."

"No, but maybe just one afternoon until dark."

"Do you think we should get extra goal posts set up? There are four teams after all. Have to keep track of who is scoring for who."

"No, three on each side is more than enough."

"I think we should double the number of balls at least... except the snitch."

"Oh definitely and maybe we're up on the sides to make sure no one gets too badly hurt."

"If they can't cut flying in a crowd then they won't last in a game or out in the world."
